The Endoscopy Unit of our hospital is located in the Central Campus, Block A, Floor 0. It serves 5 days a week between 08.00-17.00. The service flow is not interrupted by keeping watch in the endoscopy service. Endoscopy Unit provides service with 17 Physicians, 6 Nurses, 4 Other Staff and 2 Secretaries. With 33 devices, an average of 75 patients are served in our unit.
Procedures Performed in the Endoscopy Unit of our Hospital :
• Endoscopic diagnosis of digestive system diseases
• Esophagogastroduodenoscopy,
• Colonoscopy,
• Endoscopic removal of digestive system polyps,
• Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG - Stomach Feeding Tube)
• Balloon dilatation (expansion) and stenting for digestive system tumors and stenosis,
• Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP),
• Endoscopic removal of bile tract stones and stent for biliary stenosis
